It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge within the city limits any firearm of any description, including, but not limited to, shotguns, rifles, CO2 guns, bow and arrows, slingshots or flippers; provided, that this section shall not apply to the use of firearms by persons described in Utah Code Annotated section 76-10-523; also, that the city council may authorize firing on designated target ranges.
